About Book

Book Description
The Genographic Project is mapping hundreds of thousands of DNA samples to create a comprehensive human family tree. Two Christian employees of the project, Eric Colburn and Alonna McKinsey, have stumbled on a plot by a brilliant Muslim scientist, Dr. Alomari, who has co-opted the project. Eric blows the whistle and is targeted by al Qaeda assassins. A Mossad agent uncovers the explosive plot: Alomari plans to inflame the Muslim faithful with genetic proof that will vindicate Ishmael as the rightful heir of the Abrahamic covenant. Alomari also has a darker objective. He believes God created Adam with perfect DNA-that he was designed for eternity in a mortal body. The wages of sin then decreased Patriarchal life spans via DNA degradation. By compiling the massive Genographic database, Alomari has statistically reconstituted Adam's complete genome and has developed a gene therapy that will allow him to convey immortality. Eric and Alonna are caught in the perennial struggle between Abraham's heirs as they risk their lives to expose the truth.
