About the Author
Richard Bear holds a B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Oregon, and lives with his family in Pleasant Hill, Oregon on a small homestead. Desire for the Land was nominated for the Oregon Book Awards and the Paterson Poetry Prize, 1996. His poems have appeared in Rockhurst Review, Bellowing Ark, Sand River Journal, ZeroCity, Aerious, Ariga: Visions, Disquieting Muses, Feeling Trees, Lynx: Poetry from Bath, and New Zoo Poetry Review.
