Robert Ames Bennet (1870-1954) was a prolific author who sometimes wrote under the pseudonym Lee Robinet. He was the author of Thyra (1901), Out of the Primitive (1911), For the White Christ (1905), A Volunteer with Pike (1909), The Forest Maiden (1914), The Two-Gun Man (1924), Caught in the Wild (1932), The Blond Beast, and Bloom of Cactus.
