About Book

"...a comprehensive account of electromagnetic theory for undergraduate physics and electronics engineering students. Its key feature is that the physics is developed assuming that the student is thoroughly familiar with all of the vector analysis." Contemporary Physics, Dr. T.A. Birks, University of Bath, UK

Book Description
Including examples and problems throughout and background revision material where appropriate, this book introduces undergraduate students to the basic concepts of electrostatic and magnetostatic fields. It also covers Maxwell's equations, propagation, transmission and radiation, and includes chapters on the Finite Element and Finite Difference method. A CD containing many MathCad examples is included with the book, and a comprehensive solutions set is also available. First Edition published by Brooks/Cole Publishing Co. (1997): 0-534-95504-5

Being the author of the book "Electromagnetic Field Theory", freely downloadable from www.plasma.uu.se/CED/Book, I was pleased to learn about your mentioning of my book on your website. However, it seems that you have mixed up my book with another book called "Electromagnetic Field Theory Fundamentals". Best regards, Bo Thidé
