About the Author
Mary-Ellen Siegel, M.S.W., is a lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She has authored numerous books in the fields of health, social care and psychotherapy. Siegel is also a psychotherapist in private practice. Linda Berman is a recognized expert in the field of gambling addiction. She earned a master's degree for the Fordham University School of Social Work and maintains a private practice in Westchester County and New York City, New York.
