This book is one undred years out of dae and writen by a partizan of theospophy. Except for being a reference to other texts it should not be used as aprimary reference. Epiphaniusis now available in Brill Edition, so it can be directly accessd by the English speakerGRS Meade is mostly nonsense and now used by fringe Jesus mythicists and ignorant fundamentalists to bolster their arguements.
I agree with Mr Muggs. More modern Talud translations and two modern English language translations of Epiphanius (one complete Brill one partial Oxford)make render Meade uterly obsolete. Meade is now only referenced by the Lunatic fringe, and is a good filter for whether or not an article is legitimate scholarship or the spoutings of a nut case.
