About Book
Book Description
This is Volume 1 from a three-volume set. The Pioneer Priests whose lives are sketched in this volume, are not all the "Pioneer Priests of North America." Only those have been chosen who had to do with the Iroquois Indians. With one or two exceptions, they are practically unknown. Some of them were conspicuous figures in the political events of the colonies, yet even their names are now forgotten.
