About the Author
Don Rittner (Schnectady, NY) bought his first Mac in 1984. Soon after, he started Macintosh Enthusiasts Club of the Capital Area, one of the oldest Mac user groups in the country. He has been writing about the Mac since 1985, first as a columnist and User Group Editor for Macazine, and later for Mac Horizons. Don has published more than 12 books on science, history, computers, and the Net, including the iMac Book (Coriolis), which was in it's second printing only a few months after release.

i am new to mac and just have tottaly messed up all my network settings and somemore stuff i am wodering if there is any way to do a system restore llike on windows
